Accompanied by our friendly reindeer, your visit to the ranch begins with a brief safety briefing. As you explore the boreal forest, you’ll learn about its natural history and the fascinating behavior of the reindeer, who roam freely alongside you. Each walk offers a different experience depending on the season, the trail’s condition, and the reindeers’ moods, making every outing special.
As you step outside, the excitement builds as you see the reindeer playfully bounding through the snow. The guides share fascinating stories about how these animals adapt to the cold, including their thick, insulating fur and unique hooves designed for traversing icy terrain. You’ll have the opportunity to , watching them eagerly munch on treats while their breath creates little clouds in the frosty air. The tour culminates in a delightful winter walk through the ranch, where the beauty of the landscape is truly breathtaking. Please note that the terrain can be uneven, so we recommend wearing sturdy walking shoes and dressing appropriately for the weather. While our reindeer are gentle, they are not trained, and their unpredictable nature means they may choose unexpected paths during the walk. Be sure to bring your camera, as there’s always something surprising to capture!
