ARCTIC HOT SPRINGS ADVENTURE

Your tour today starts directly from your Fairbanks hotel, so you won’t have to worry about arranging transportation to reach the hot springs.

Free hotel pickup time is from 4:15pm to 5:00pm

Nestled in the heart of the Alaskan wilderness, just a short drive from Fairbanks, lies the enchanting and unique Arctic Hot Springs Resort. As you embark on the scenic journey from Fairbanks, the rugged beauty of the landscape unfolds before your eyes. 

During winter, you will experience snow-capped mountains and pristine forests stretching as far as the eye can see. Upon arriving at the resort, you are greeted by the inviting warmth of the natural hot springs, where you can soak away your cares surrounded by the tranquil beauty of the Alaskan wilderness

This unique winter place is called Chena Hot Springs Resort, adventure and relaxation await at every turn. When the snow conditions are right, after a rejuvenating soak in the hot springs, you can hire a tour and embark on a thrilling dog sled ride, or snowmachining guided tour through the snowy trails, or hire a guided snowshoeing excursion to explore the winter wonderland.

You can also buy the Aurora Ice Museum tour, it is a fascinating and unique attraction showcasing a stunning display of ice sculptures and artwork. This one-of-a-kind museum is entirely constructed from ice and snow, providing visitors with an enchanting experience. The museum features a captivating array of ice sculptures, including intricate carvings of animals, mythical creatures, and Alaskan-themed designs. Visitors can marvel at the exquisite craftsmanship and creativity displayed throughout the museum while immersing themselves in the ethereal ambiance created by the glistening ice sculptures.

  • 5:00pm Departure from Fairbanks.
  • 6:45pm Arrival Chena Resort.
  • 7:00pm Guided Ice Museum.
  • 8:00pm Soak in hot springs rock lake (must be 18 or older) or indoor pool.
  • 12:00am Waiting for Northern Lights.
  • 2:00am Leaving Chena Hot Springs.
  • 4:00am Arrival back in Fairbanks

Tour available as of November 1st. A minimum of 2 people is required for booking. Single travelers and short notice reservations (within 7 days of tour date) always have to contact us for availability and price.

HAVE YOUR OWN TRASPORTATION, GREAT! You can visit year round and have access to the hot springs. We will be happy to arrange the visit for you.
